Description
These earrings were created at the Caring Hands facility in Bweyogerere, Uganda.
The African continent-shaped earrings are made from decommissioned Finnish 10 Penni coins which are 1.8 cm in diameter.
After completing the cutting of the design from the coins, the earrings are varnished. The attached hooks are made of surgical steel.
The process to make these earrings involves several people to complete the different steps and can take up to 5 hours.
Besides shipping costs, all proceeds go directly toward supporting programs at Caring Hands Uganda.
